Village at Belmar, Lakewood’s premier senior living community, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Nurse to join our outstanding care team. In this key role, you’ll oversee the health and wellness of our residents through skilled nursing assessments, medication management, and coordination of care. You’ll partner closely with residents, families, and team members to ensure individualized care that promotes dignity, safety, and independence. Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment in the best interests of the residents

Obtains and administers medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Documents and reviews medication and treatment sheets for accuracy and compliance with physician orders and regulations

Monitor response to treatment plans

Assist in writing service plans based on resident needs
Qualifications:

RN, LPN, or LVN license required

CPR/First Aid certification
-
One year of experience working with the elderly population preferred

Excellent organizational skill and attention to detail

Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed
Pay:
$36.00 - $38.00 an hour, based on experience
