We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team at Cambridge Truck. This is a very unique opportunity for the right flat rate technician who wants the opportunity for an abundance of work and earnings opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems effectively.
- Conduct diesel engine repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently to complete repairs and installations.
- Align vehicle wheels and ensure proper handling characteristics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Proficiency in diagnosing issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate power tools and perform welding tasks as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
