Job Scope
Uses significant independent judgment and familiarity of the field to perform work. May be responsible for
administration of various moderate and high complexity departmental programs and may be the lead a group of
employees. May develop policies and procedures and oversee the implementation and execution of them.
Position Summary
The position is responsible for supporting teachers with the goal of understanding the data needed to support high
quality classroom instruction through effective presentation of State assessment results, MAP, and additional
student performance and growth data. Provide teacher training and support for navigating data reporting systems,
understanding the implications of student performance on campus and district accountability, as well as tracking
and improving individual student performance/growth. Evaluate existing data reporting systems used by
classroom teachers, identify any deficiencies, and develop new system requirements with specific proposals for
improvement. Working with software developers, this position would assist in software design, new user training,
and full testing of the software product. Once deployed, this position would oversee campus implementation,
evaluate its effectiveness, and request adjustments, as necessary.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
1. Develop effective presentations and conveys data in instruction to individuals and groups; may be asked
to present data.
2. Develop classroom teacher training; may be asked to facilitate training.
3. Collaborate with District instructional leaders to disseminate information and data collection strategies
that optimize efficiently and promote effective teaching using latitude for independent judgement.
4. Maintain an understanding of educational data systems to include student demographic, assessment, and
program participation.
5. Develop reports in direct support of classroom instruction, documents clear, relevant, and comprehensive
data and relays information to district stakeholders.
