An English Learner (EL) Paraprofessional assists certified teachers to support students, focusing on targeted language instruction, small group academic reinforcement as well as cultural and linguistic translation.

Job Overview:
· Under supervision you will implement small group instruction for K-8th Grade students
· You will be supporting English Language Learners (EL) students in a small group setting
· Maintain high expectations for student academic success and conduct
· Subscribe to the belief that every student has a natural desire to learn
· Create a positive learning environment for all students
· Reinforce school-wide rules and expectations
· Implement warm-strict discipline techniques
· Collaborate closely with fellow teachers and other staff members
· Differentiate instruction effectively to meet the individual needs of the student
· Build strong relationships with students, staff and families
· The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Requirements:
You must have or obtain a Structured English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement
You must have an IVP fingerprint clearance card issued by the state of Arizona
Qualifications:
You must have a high school diploma; college is a plus
Hourly Rate & Benefits:
