Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to help launch our new concept : Purcellville EATS. EATS is a small fast- paced sandwich shop serving gourmet sandwiches, small plates, dirty sodas and boozy milkshakes. Bartending and counter experience preferred. Will train right person for this exciting new concept. MUST have reliable transportation. Prefer attitude over resume.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining consistency in taste and appearance.
- Utilize POS systems
- Monitor kitchen operations, including food production, culinary standards, and kitchen management to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and sanitation standards across all restaurant areas.
- Supervise shift management activities to ensure smooth transitions between different periods of operation.
- Participate in interviewing potential staff members to build a talented team aligned with our service standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems -experience with cash handling is essential.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on staff training & development and team management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Experience in managing kitchen operations or culinary teams; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster a positive work environment.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
