Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced FAA Technician to support the manufacturing, testing, assembly, and repair of complex electronic products. In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot electronic assemblies to the component level, perform precision soldering, and ensure products meet strict quality and performance standards.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic assemblies and circuit boards to the component level
- Identify root causes of product failures and perform repairs
- Analyze test results and implement corrective actions
- Assemble and manufacture commercial and clinical electronic products
- Follow blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and work instructions
- Ensure products meet specifications, tolerances, and quality standards
- Perform precision soldering and rework on electronic assemblies
- Work with both:
- Through-hole components
- Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components
- Maintain workmanship standards and quality requirements
- Execute product testing and verification activities
- Utilize electronic test equipment to validate performance
- Document test results and repair activities accurately
- Support production teams in resolving technical issues
- May provide guidance and direction to less experienced technicians
- Contribute ideas and solutions to improve quality and efficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4–6 years of electronics manufacturing, repair, or test experience
- Strong component-level troubleshooting experience
- Basic understanding of:
- Analog circuits
- Digital circuits
- Proficiency in:
- Through-hole soldering
- Surface mount soldering (SMT)
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Schematics
- Blueprints
- Assembly drawings
- Technical documentation
- Experience in electronics manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with test equipment such as:
- Multimeters
- Oscilloscopes
- Power supplies
- Signal generators
- IPC or solder certifications
- Experience supporting medical, aerospace, industrial, or high-reliability electronics products
