Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Lead Family Assistant for three different shifts:
* Swing- 2pm-10pm
* Daycare (morning) 8am-4pm
* Weekend (Friday-Sunday) any shift
to join our dedicated Residential SUD team. In this vital role, you will serve as a trusted partner in supporting the daily needs of children and family members within a residential program setting. Your energetic approach, combined with your expertise in childcare and household management, will ensure a nurturing, organized, and joyful environment. This position is unique in that you will be leading/supporting other family assistants in this position.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive childcare support for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, development, and happiness (ages newborn to 6 years old)
- Lead household routines such as light cleaning, laundry, and residential housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized home environment
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, following safety protocols to ensure health emergencies are managed promptly and effectively
- you will help run a shift specific monthly meeting, help with monthly inventories, create and maintain monthly logs, train new staff and write/manage a shift schedule
Experience
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups in private homes, daycare centers, or babysitting roles
- Demonstrated ability to provide infant care and toddler care with patience and attentiveness
- Hands-on experience with residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning
- Valid certifications including First Aid and CPR are required; additional training in caregiving or teaching is a plus
