Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, managing daily classroom activities, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports child development and encourages exploration.
- Manage daily classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and classroom organization to ensure smooth operation.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings, reports, or informal updates.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development tailored to diverse learning needs including special education and early intervention programs.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certifications.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and inform instructional strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of child development principles, curriculum development techniques, and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori or similar educational approaches preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners; excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; ongoing professional development in childhood welfare or special education is a plus.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant coursework or certifications in childhood development or preschool teaching are advantageous.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,434.90 per year
