Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, providing excellent service and answering questions about products and store policies
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including counting cash, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Maintain phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Ability to perform basic math for transactions, inventory counts, and sales calculations confidently
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking techniques, and retail math principles necessary for daily operations
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and a positive attitude
Must be 21 or older and able to pass a background check
