Job description
`Duties:`
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks during all types of weather
- Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding the care and handling of their dogs
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness during walks
- Clean up after dogs during walks, including disposing of waste properly
- Maintain a safe and controlled environment while walking multiple dogs at once
- Provide reinforcement during walks
-Qualifications:`
- Can do attitude with problem solving skills
-Reliable
-Previous experience in animal handling or related field preferred (e.g., veterinary technician, kennel worker, pet sitter)
-Knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
- Physical stamina to walk multiple dogs for extended periods of time in ALL weather
- Ability to lift heavy objects , as needed such as dogs needing help to get in and out of cars, dog food bags or crates
-MUST BE TO ABLE TO WORK M-F 10am-3pm minimum
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per day
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
