Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including floor care, commercial cleaning, and general maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.

Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Carry out custodial duties in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the functionality of building systems.

Respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain supplies in storage areas.

Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Skills

Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.

Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
