Job Summary
We are a 10 bed group home. We are seeking a compassionate Assisted Living Manager to lead our senior care community with energy, dedication, and a passion for enhancing residents' quality of life. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the caregiving team to deliver exceptional assisted living and memory care services, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local health regulations related to long-term care facilities.
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring safety protocols are followed meticulously.
- Manage daily operations including staffing schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and resident satisfaction.
- Foster strong relationships with residents’ families and healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress, incident reports, and regulatory compliance records.
- Lead staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team.
- Monitor facility safety standards through routine inspections and emergency preparedness drills.
- Stay informed about evolving healthcare regulations and best practices in senior care to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with a strong background in long-term care operations. Must have 3 years experience with managing a team and cover Caregivers if necessary.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory support programs, and resident-centered approaches.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervisory experience overseeing healthcare teams or group homes.
- Familiarity with health regulation policies related to assisted living facilities and nursing home administration.
- Strong understanding of healthcare financial management including budgeting and resource planning.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging residents’ families and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- Certification as Caregiver, current TB, CPR, Az fingerprint card, food handlers card, Social Security
