What You’ll Do
- Travel to customers’ homes to diagnose and repair appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves)
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build trust with homeowners
- Recommend solutions to improve appliance performance and longevity
- Maintain an organized service vehicle and manage parts inventory
- Complete service calls efficiently and accurately
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA Type I or Universal Certification (preferred/required)
- 1–2 years of appliance repair or related mechanical experience (preferred not required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling and parts ordering
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs occasionally)
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime
- Travel up to 75%+ (local daily routes)
Location
- Service area includes South Bend and the surrounding areas
