At Ray of Sunshine Pediatric Therapy, we provide personalized, high-quality care to every child we serve — and we're looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join one of our local school-based sites. Working under the supervision of our licensed SLPs, you'll play a key role in helping students build the communication skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Schedule & Commitment
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00/4:30 p.m.
- Full school-year commitment required
- Paid time off for all school breaks and holidays during the school year
What You'll Do
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs
- Conduct guided therapy sessions to build students' speech, language, and communication skills
- Support assessments and screenings as directed by the supervising SLP
- Document session notes and track student progress accurately
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain organized, engaging session spaces
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the broader care team to support student success
- Communicate professionally with families and school staff
- Follow all clinic and school protocols for documentation and quality of care
What You Bring
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program (associate's or bachelor's level, per state requirements)
- Current state registration/certification as an SLPA (or eligibility to obtain)
- Solid understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech and communication
- Experience with school-age children preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
