Job Summary:
Loading, securing, transport loads to and from job sites, assist crane with rigging and signaling.
Responsibilities& Duties:
- Deliver loads while operating a tractor-trailer truck on local routes or spanning several states.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Attaches loads to rigging equipment to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand or power tools.
- Signals or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting or moving loads in order to ensure safety of workers and materials.
- Inspects and tests rigging equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
- Keep their truck and associated equipment clean and in good working order.
- Report all incident however minor to dispatch immediately.
- Follow all Federal, State and Local laws.
- Conduct a Pre and Post trip inspection of tractor, trailer and load(s) and properly complete a Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) on a daily basis.
- Completion of a Driver’s Log on a daily basis.
- Properly report any mechanical problems to Service Department.
- Understands and knowledgeable with proper load securement.
- Must be able to read well, write clearly.
Qualifications& Skills:
- Class A driver’s license in good standing.
- Valid DOT medical card.
- Safeland training (not required but a plus).
- Defensive driving (not required but a plus).
- First Aid/CPR (not required but a plus).
- H2S (not required but a plus).

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
