Steve P. Rados, Inc. is seeking motivated candidates to fulfill the role of Project Manager on projects in the southern California area (San Bernadino, Riverside, Orange, LA counties) performing heavy civil water/wastewater plant and mechanically work.
This position requires an individual who is well organized and capable of taking on a project from start-up all the way to completion and close out. This individual will be a liaison between Steve P. Rados, Inc. and the Owner requiring strong interpersonal skills. This position reports to the Division Manager.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of the project scope; Overall responsibility for safety, quality, and budget for projects scope; Adherence to contract, plans and specifications; Lead, direct and supervise the work of others; Assist the Division Manager with major equipment and project needs; Ensures compliance with Safety and Quality requirements; Able to interpret contract, plans and specifications; Rationalize, analyze and make timely decisions regarding solutions to problems with varying degrees of complexity that are in line with project and organization objectives and guidelines; Represents and ensures Company values and Codes of Conduct are followed and other duties assigned.
Qualifications: BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred; 10 years of work-related experience; Requires 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or a project role of similar capacity managing work of others; Strong effective communication (verbal & written) with internal and external team members and stakeholders; job related technical knowledge necessary to fulfill the role; Strong computer and software skills inclusive of Excel/spreadsheets, Word, Teams, Outlook; and Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills.
