We are seeking a skilled tradesman with extensive experience in concrete work, including forming, pouring, and finishing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a proven ability to deliver high-quality results on various concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Concrete Work: Prepare, pour, and finish concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, and other structures.
- Formwork Installation: Build and set up forms to hold concrete in place during the curing process.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from construction drawings and specifications.
- Surface Finishing: Ensure smooth and level surfaces using trowels, screeds, and other finishing tools.
- Reinforcement: Install rebar and other reinforcements to strengthen concrete structures.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate mixers, vibrators, and other tools related to concrete work.
- Safety Practices: Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure job site and prevent accidents.
- Quality Control: Monitor the curing process to ensure proper setting and durability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other crew members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Required Skill Sets
- Extensive experience in concrete forming, pouring, and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of concrete materials and construction techniques.
- Proficient in using concrete tools and operating relevant equipment.
- Commitment to safety practices and protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Physical stamina for labor-intensive tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to pass a background check.

- Prior experience in residential, commercial, or industrial concrete work.
- Familiarity with advanced finishing techniques.
- Certification in concrete construction or related field.
- Experience with small to medium-scale concrete projects.
