We are a well-established, rapidly growing, distribution business. As the company continues to expand into new markets, we are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our leadership team.
Position Overview
The Finance Manager will be a key member of the leadership group, responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations and supporting long-term strategic planning. This role covers general ledger (GL), accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP), while also providing accurate and timely financial reporting to the executive team.
This position is an excellent opportunity for either a seasoned professional ready to take on a leadership role or a recent graduate eager to grow within a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage AR and AP processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger; ensure all entries are properly recorded
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Analyze performance, identify variances, and recommend improvements
- Support banking relationships, audits, and year-end close procedures
- Implement financial best practices and process improvements across departments
- Provide financial insights to guide strategic decisions
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear communication skills with ability to explain financial data to non-finance staff
- Self-motivated, proactive, able to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Experience in distribution, wholesale, or logistics industries
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
- Internship or professional experience in finance/accounting (for recent grads)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
