Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant with expertise in phlebotomy and advanced blood processing techniques to support our integrative and precision medicine practice. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality sample collection and biological handling for advanced diagnostics, cellular therapy, and wellness optimization protocols. Key Responsibilities
Phlebotomy & Patient Interaction
- Perform venipuncture with precision and confidence on all patient types (including difficult draws)
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning during collection
- Educate patients about the process and respond to any pre- or post-draw concerns
- Maintain accurate labeling, documentation, and sample tracking in EMR and lab systems
Advanced Blood Processing
- Centrifuge and aliquot blood samples for PRP, plasma, serum, exosome, and stem cell applications
- Handle and prepare specimens for specialty labs (functional, genomic, micronutrient, etc.)
- Process and store specimens according to protocol-specific timelines and temperature controls
- Maintain sterility and biosafety standards for all biologics and cellular materials
Clinical & Operational Support
- Assist physicians and nurses with injections, treatments and therapy preparation
- Prepare treatment trays and ensure all materials are in compliance with protocols
- Maintain supply inventory and order lab kits and phlebotomy equipment
- Follow chain-of-custody protocols for sensitive or high-value biologic materials
Qualifications
Required:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in phlebotomy
- Demonstrated expertise in centrifugation, PRP preparation, and specimen aliquoting
- Familiarity with HIPAA, CLIA, and OSHA standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with luxury or high-service environments preferred
Preferred:
- Experience with specialty lab kits (Genova, Vibrant, DUTCH, etc.)
- Background in concierge, longevity, or functional medicine
- Knowledge of regenerative or cellular medicine protocols
- Familiarity with EMR and diagnostic tracking systems

Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time schedule (Mon–Fri, some weekends or early mornings possible and call rotation)

Pay: $25.28 - $26.35 per hour
