About the Role
RF Logistics, LLC is seeking an experienced Gear Issue / Supply Customer Service Representative to support the LOGSU-2 Supply Department.
In this role you are the face of the gear locker for Naval Special Warfare operators and support personnel. You will manage inventory control, sustainment replenishment, and the issue of personal and operational gear — making sure the right equipment, in the right size, is staged and ready when a unit deploys or trains. This is hands-on warehouse work in a mission-driven environment where accuracy and responsiveness directly affect operational readiness.
What You'll Do
- Maintain inventory control, sustainment replenishment, and issue of NSW personal and operational gear.
- Issue initial loadout and sustainment gear; break out operational consumables and process general service requests.
- Validate all received material quantities, stock/part numbers, and unit of issue, and inspect items to confirm acceptance in accordance with policy.
- Process, manage, and transport incoming material by hand truck or forklift, including stowage, inventory, and daily reconciliation of material issued in the supply database (DPAS/ELMS).
- Research incoming material and process and manage returns and disposal of gear.
- Assemble deployment- and training-specific gear loadouts against listings tailored to geographic region and operator specialty.
- Retrieve and track sizing requirements for individual personnel.
- Enter data accurately across multiple government databases and maintain supporting documentation.
- Provide responsive, professional customer service to command personnel and supported units.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of warehousing and inventory management experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).
- Active DoD SECRET security clearance (must be in place prior to start of performance).
- Current forklift license/certification for capacities up to 10,000 lb, or ability to obtain from an accredited external licensor prior to start.
- Valid state driver's license, and ability to meet the requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles / Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) for official duties.
- Ability to operate a PC and proficiency with Microsoft Office — Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Ability to complete and maintain all training and certification requirements for government network access.
- Ability to obtain personal and vehicle access to a military installation.
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with DPAS and/or ELMS (Enterprise Logistics Management System).
- Prior support to Naval Special Warfare, SOCOM, or another special operations component.
- Background as a Navy Logistics Specialist (LS) or equivalent military supply/warehouse specialty.
- Familiarity with NAVSUP OneTouch, NAVSUP P-485, and CNSWCINST 4460.1D (NSW Force Logistics Manual).
- Experience with individual-issue programs and sizing/fitting of tactical equipment.
Schedule, Location, and Travel
- Work is performed on-site at JEB Little Creek–Fort Story, Virginia Beach, VA.
- Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. No weekend work is scheduled.
- No routine travel is anticipated for this position.
- Workspace, computer, telephone, and office equipment are government-furnished.
Pay: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour
