PHYSICAL THERAPIST

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for initial evaluations, recurring treatments, progress, and discharge notes. Additionally, it is required to work closely with support staff members to manage each patient throughout their care. Clear and concise communication skills are a must. Will lead and direct clinic team members in accordance with the policies and procedures given by provider and/or lead Physical Therapist.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma Required
- MSPT/DPT Degree from Accredited University, Approved by APTA
- Active State License for GA
- Current BLS Certification
- Two years in Outpatient Physical Therapy experience preferred, orthopedic experience a plus
- Experience using an EHR/EMR
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and cheerful attitude
- Highly organized and acute attention for detail
- Provide outstanding customer service – must be friendly and compassionate to patients
- Neat and professional appearance
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice
- Maintains detailed knowledge of electronic health record and other computer software as it relates to job functions
- Accurately document each patient visit/Initial Evaluation
- Competently manage patient care per POC
- Oversee PTA and/or Technician patient care
- Travel may be required between locations
