Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their window treatment needs, preferences, and budgets through friendly and professional communication.
- Conduct in-home or showroom consultations to assess space dimensions, lighting conditions, and design goals.
- Present product demos and explain features of various window treatments
- Develop accurate estimates and proposals; negotiate pricing and terms to close sales effectively while upselling premium options.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through deal closing, ensuring high customer satisfaction at every step.
- Coordinate installation schedules with clients and oversee the maintenance of products post-installation to ensure quality and longevity.
- Build strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up, personalized service, and exceptional support.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in lighting design, remodeling, renovation techniques, and construction materials relevant to window treatments.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or construction sales with a focus on high-end or custom solutions.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while closing deals effectively.
- Knowledge of renovation processes, remodeling projects, construction materials, and fixture sales.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly convey technical details and design concepts.
- Basic math skills for measurements, pricing calculations, and estimating project costs accurately.
- Familiarity with lighting design principles and interior design fundamentals to recommend complementary solutions.
- Organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term client relationships through trust and professionalism.
