Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Marine Detailer to join our team in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This position plays a critical role in preparing new and pre-owned boats and RVs for delivery by ensuring each unit meets established quality and appearance standards.
The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, follows procedures carefully, and maintains a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean boat and RV exteriors using approved cleaning solutions, water, cloths, and brushes
- Apply wax to exteriors and buff surfaces to enhance shine and protect finishes using hand tools or buffing equipment
- Vacuum interiors to remove dust, dirt, and debris
- Clean upholstery, carpets, and interior surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Treat vinyl, leather, and fabric surfaces with preservatives, conditioners, and stain-resistant treatments
- Clean engines and engine compartments using steam-cleaning equipment and specialized products
- Use specialty cleaners to remove stains and materials not eliminated by standard methods
- Perform minor paint touch-ups to boat exteriors and engine components
- Restore vinyl surfaces using reconditioning chemicals and dyes
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures
- Immediately report accidents, damages, or unsafe conditions to management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must maintain a safety-conscious approach at all times
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including:
- Background check
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- Drug test
