Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate QIDP/Residential Director to lead our residential care programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. This vital role combines clinical oversight with leadership, ensuring that residents receive high-quality, person-centered care in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and committed to empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives. As a key member of our team, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate Implementation Strategies based on each individual's Personal Plan, and foster a supportive community for residents with diverse needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise direct support staff to deliver exceptional resident care aligned with individualized Personal Plans.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive care plans that address residents’ medical, behavioral, and social needs.
- Manage documentation while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents’ progress and adjust Implementation Strategies accordingly; ensure adherence to all safety protocols including first aid and emergency situation protocols.
- Foster a positive community environment by managing conflicts effectively and promoting resident engagement through activities like meal preparation and social support.
- Ensure that direct care staff are ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are being maintained throughout the home.
- Drive program growth by building strong relationships with families, case management agencies, and external service providers.
- On Call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Prior experience in case management, behavior management, or developing personalized care plans is essential.
- Knowledge of DHS Rule 115, Rule 116, and Rule 119.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to drive as part of job responsibilities.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR.
- Excellent communication skills in social work or caregiving contexts; conflict resolution abilities highly valued.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
