What You'll Do
As a Senior Bench Jeweler, you'll focus on delivering exceptional craftsmanship across a wide range of jewelry repair and restoration projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Advanced jewelry repair, including sizing, soldering, rebuilding, refinishing, and restoration
- Expert diamond and gemstone setting
- Polishing and finishing jewelry to showroom-quality standards
- Evaluating repair work and providing recommendations on feasibility, timelines, and pricing
- Working on occasional custom jewelry and antique restoration projects
- Collaborating with fellow jewelers and sales professionals to ensure excellent customer outcomes
- Managing repair workflow efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Maintaining an organized, safe, and professional workshop environment
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of bench jeweler experience preferred
- Strong expertise in jewelry repair and diamond/gemstone setting
- Experience with restoration work and custom jewelry projects
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience using traditional bench jeweler tools and techniques
- CAD experience is not required
