D.E.B. Manufacturing is a small business specializing in the production of viscous rotary dampers for aerospace applications since 1989.
D.E.B. is located in Concord, North Carolina next to the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
D.E.B. works on a 4 day 10 hour schedule 6:00 am to 4:30 pm with 3 day weekends. Overtime on Friday's if necessary.
On the job training will be provided.
D.E.B. dampers are used in space mechanisms to deploy solar arrays or other scientific instruments for satellites. Dampers are also used in flight control systems for aircraft.
Job Description
- Assembly and testing of dampers
- Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot processes and make required adjustments to meet drawing and traveler process sheet requirements.
- Fastener safety wiring, painting and operation of required equipment/tooling.
- Perform manufacturing processes and complete/sign-off of traveler process sheets
- Maintain clean work environment.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in interpretation of assembly drawings, traveler process sheets and test procedures.
- Understanding of assembly, filling and testing techniques and operation of testing equipment.
- Attention to Detail
- Capability to Lift 50 lbs. Testing programs require applying 1 lb to 40 lb weight to test wheel cable to validate damping rate.
- Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Solid math skills to analyze and compute data results.
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, depth gages, height gages, etc
- Excellent verbal communication and team player.
