Social Media & Content Marketing Intern (Paid)Job Overview
The Elopement Room is seeking a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Social Media & Content Marketing Intern to help grow our online presence and showcase the unforgettable moments we create for our couples.
This paid, part-time internship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and brand storytelling within the wedding and events industry. You'll help create engaging content, manage our social media presence, and capture the beauty of intimate weddings and special events.

Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and publish three social media posts each week across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and X.
- Write engaging captions that reflect The Elopement Room's brand voice.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content during weddings, styled shoots, and special events as needed.
- Create and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok using CapCut, Canva, or similar editing tools.
- Monitor comments, direct messages, and engage professionally with our online community.
- Assist in planning monthly content calendars and social media campaigns.
- Research current social media trends and recommend creative content ideas.
- Track basic social media performance and engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with the owner to maintain a consistent and engaging brand presence across all platforms.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and X.
- Comfortable creating and editing short-form video content.
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
- Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage deadlines independently.
- Passion for weddings, events, hospitality, marketing, or content creation.
- Self-motivated, creative, and eager to learn.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout The Elopement Room's service area for weddings, styled shoots, client events, and on-site content creation. Our service area includes Orlando, Kissimmee, Melbourne, Daytona Beach, Tampa, and surrounding Central Florida communities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing a personal, school, or business social media account.
- Basic photography and/or videography skills.
- Experience using Meta Business Suite or other social media scheduling platforms.
Compensation & Schedule
Job Type: Paid Internship (Part-Time)
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Three flexible workdays per week
- Approximately 6–9 hours per week
- Occasional evenings or weekends for weddings, styled shoots, and special events (additional paid opportunities may be available)
