Job Summary
We are a national title company located in western Suffolk County, NY. The ideal Real Property Records Abstractor candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience. Able to prioritize and multi-task in an efficient manner. Self-motivated, along with excellent communication and computer skills with the ability to be a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Experience with online searching in the county land records office.
- Responsible for examining titles, searching real estate records, and compiling a list of mortgages, contracts, judgments and encumbrances
- Search, analyzes and evaluates real estate records relating to title of homes, land and buildings to ensure its sale or use
- Examine and verify title, summarize legal or insurance documents.
- Non-Remote position; must report to our home office
Experience:
- Excellent computer skills

- High level exposure to a deadline driven industry, multi-tasking and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
