Position Summary
The Air Force uses hundreds of aircraft to carry out its missions. Our Tactical Aircraft Maintenance specialists keep every component of these well-oiled machines up to the highest standards. They ensure these aircraft are ready to fly and effectively complete their missions whenever the need arises.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist in recovering aircraft.
- Use automated technical data to solve maintenance problems.
- Supervise and perform inspections on engine and aircraft.
- Conduct functional tests of repaired engines.
- Review maintenance data to spot potential trends.

Qualifications
This is an active-duty position as an Air Force Reserve officer. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of principles applying to aircraft systems
- Normal color vision
- Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 39
