Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment status updates.
- Operate and maintain specialized tools such as precision measuring instruments, welding equipment ( welding), scissor lifts, and HVAC/R systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems using engineering troubleshooting techniques; read electrical schematics accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze equipment failures and implement long-term solutions for continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong background in industrial maintenance with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems (including HVAC/R), and industrial electrician tasks.
- Familiarity with field service operations, customer service skills, and technical sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals; proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems safely and effectively.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with a proactive approach to equipment troubleshooting and repair in a fast-paced setting.
