About AES Restaurant Group
AES Restaurant Group is one of the largest Arby’s restaurant franchisees with 229 locations in seventeen states. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and post sales, including cash and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare daily reconciliation of operating accounts
- Prepare monthly closing journal entries
- Review and validate store inventory
- Analytical review of balance sheet accounts to ensure balances are supported and seem reasonable
- Accurate and timely supporting schedules
- Provide high level of customer service to operations
- Produce reports to upper management upon request
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated professionalism and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong computer skills and competence utilizing Microsoft Office products
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate in an effective and courteous manner with customers (internal and external)
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Ability to do financial analysis, critical thinking, and prepare projections
- Physical Demands: <5% of time spent pulling files, which requires the ability to squat and lift approximately 5-15 lbs; >95% of time spent working at a desk
- Preferred Skills: Two years accounting experience.
