We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and self-motivated Maintenance Handyman to support the upkeep and repair of multiple company locations. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements to ensure each location remains safe, clean, and fully operational. The ideal candidate is experienced in a variety of trades, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can manage tasks independently while traveling between company sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs at multiple company locations.
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, doors, windows, locks, and other building systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they become costly repairs.
- Assemble, install, and repair fixtures, furniture, shelving, and equipment.
- Replace lighting, ceiling tiles, filters, and other building components.
- Maintain HVAC systems by changing filters and reporting issues requiring specialized service.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe working condition.
- Keep accurate records of completed work, materials used, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all work complies with company safety policies and applicable building codes.
- Travel between company locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of general maintenance or handyman experience.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and basic HVAC maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer or mobile device skills for work order management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience maintaining commercial buildings or multiple facilities.
Work Environment
- Travel between multiple company locations throughout the workweek.
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Occasional after-hours, weekend, or emergency response may be required.
Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
