Women's health care is our #1 priority at Carolina Elite Women's Care. We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our dynamic team in our Garner, NC office. You'll have the chance to build lasting provider-patient relationships within our community.
Our ideal candidate has experience in women's health and thrives in a patient-centered, collaborative environment. That said, women's health experience is not required — we welcome new graduates.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and Pap smears
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
- Manage contraception, including IUD insertion and removal
- Perform Nexplanon insertion and removal
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare providers and facilities
- Communicate with the collaborating physician and specialists regarding patient care
- Provide patient counseling and education
- Help develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- Approved/licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina
- Comfortable working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Working knowledge of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Women's health experience preferred, but not required
