Agua Pura Services, LLC is seeking a dependable and hardworking Field Operations Technician to support our water, wastewater, and underground utility operations. This position assists field crews with construction, maintenance, inspection, and utility-related activities while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Agua Pura Services is an Arizona-licensed commercial general engineering contractor (ROC 352604) specializing in underground utilities, water and wastewater infrastructure, treatment systems, and related services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
- Perform general construction labor, including digging, shoveling, lifting, and material handling.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with traffic control and work-zone setup as required.
- Assist with excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and site preparation activities.
- Follow company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and project specifications.
- Support installation, repair, and maintenance of water, wastewater, and underground utility systems.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators, technicians, and fellow crew members.
- Complete daily tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial driver license.
- Experience in construction, utilities, water/wastewater systems, or related trades.
- Experience operating compact equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, or trench compactors.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- ADEQ certifications or familiarity with water/wastewater operations.
- Experience working around underground utilities.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift more with assistance.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Work in construction environments, including uneven terrain, trenches, and active job sites.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Schedule
- Full-time hourly position.
- Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work, or emergency response assignments as project needs require.

Pay Range: $20.00–$30.00 per hour (depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications).
