We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting construction operations by performing a variety of physical tasks that ensure smooth production processes. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help maintain a productive, efficient, and safe work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to high-quality manufacturing outcomes.
Duties
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, ensuring all machinery functions correctly and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials, supplies, and finished products in accordance with safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and operational efficiency
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly at all times to safeguard yourself and colleagues during tasks
- Support the inspection of materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) protocols
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including adherence to safety standards in production environments, to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining a focus on safety and quality
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge that enables troubleshooting basic equipment issues quickly and effectively
- Experience or familiarity with manufacturing processes and workflows
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including proper PPE use and hazard awareness
- Knowledge of GMP guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality assurance practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, demonstrating physical strength and endurance
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new tasks and responsibilities
- Attention to detail combined with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
