Shift: 10-Hour Days | Variable Schedule | On-Call: Required
Flexibility: Must be willing and able to float/flex to the General OR
Pay Rate:
- Local: $75/hr on W2
- Travel: $3,300,65/Weekly Gross (Stipends: $1,245.65/Weekly Included)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe and effective nursing care throughout cardiovascular surgical procedures. The RN will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the surgical process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established nursing standards.
- Monitor patient condition and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary surgical team.
- Assist with preparation and management of patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
- Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- May float to the General OR based on competency and department needs.
- Participate in on-call coverage as required.
Requirements
- Active RN License – Colorado State or Compact.
- 1+ year of RN experience required.
- CVOR experience Required.
- BLS (AHA) – Required.
- ACLS (AHA) – Required.
- Must be willing to flex to General OR.
