Spring Garden Academy is hiring part-time and full-time lead preschool teachers . We are looking for qualified individuals who are committed to a holistic view of education in a high-risk community. We also place a high focus on meeting the needs of trauma-impacted families and encourage a collaborative approach to teaching/support.
Two to five years of experience is required and a BS/BA in early childhood or a related field strongly desired. However, we will consider candidates with significant coursework/experience in the field. Strong commitment to differentiated instruction, child-focused learning, standards-based reporting, ongoing formative assessment, professional growth, understanding of at-risk communities, and a school family model of education highly desired. Also, familiarity with Conscious Discipline, NAYEC accreditation, Keystone Stars are a plus.
