Indiana Center for Recovery - Bedford is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a primary substance abuse inpatient treatment center. This position is ideal for a nurse with prior behavioral health, substance abuse, detox, inpatient, or emergency room (ER) experience who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals in recovery.

LPN - $30.00 - $35.00, RN - $40.00 - $43.00/hr
Schedule:
- Full-Time Night shift, 6:00pm - 6:00am
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to clients in a residential substance abuse treatment setting
- Conduct nursing assessments and monitor client health status
- Administer medications and document appropriately
- Monitor withdrawal symptoms and communicate concerns to the medical team
- Obtain and document vital signs
- Collaborate with clinical, medical, and behavioral health staff to coordinate care
- Respond appropriately to medical and behavioral health emergencies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and wellness strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in Indiana
- Prior experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, detox, inpatient healthcare, or emergency room (ER) settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented approach
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
