Medication Technician Full-time 7a-3p & 11p-7a
The Villa at Westhampton is the premier assisted living community in Westhampton and the only assisted living community in the Hamptons. We are looking for experienced and caring Medication Technicians to assist our residents with their medications throughout the day. AMAP certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
- Accurately pour and endorse assistance with medication of each individual.
- Ensure consistency between the physician prescriptions, blister packs and medications poured for each resident.
- Ensure timely and accurate medication orders and medication renewals.
- Review medication refill log to compare with medication in storage cabinets.
- Review of “no-refill” orders in the refill log and faxing of requests to MDs.
- Review of receipt, storage and documentation of medications delivered.
- Communicate with the Medication Supervisor to clarify and ensure entitlements, prescriptions, and deliveries.
- Maintain medical and medication information on all residents in their designated file.
- Report residents who missed or refused medications to supervisor and case management.
- Receiving/Sending medications from the pharmacy and ensuring the counts are accurate.
- Completing a shift report and narcotic count at the beginning and end of every shift.
- Ensuring the medication room is kept clean and stocked with the necessary supplies.
- Attendance at all mandatory scheduled in-service training programs.
- Provide support to the HHA/RCA working on the floor or accept assignments from the nurse on duty.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
