## Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hospital setting and contribute to patient care.
## Duties
- Inhale patient prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries and resolving issues
- Support pharmacists in various pharmacy-related tasks
- Assist in maintaining proper medication inventory levels
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Practice aseptic technique during medication preparation
- Administer medications following established protocols, including IV infusion
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
## Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of critical care procedures and medication administration
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus, but not mandatory
