Job Description:
We are seeking a Licensed ACSW (Associate Clinical Social Worker) to provide therapeutic counseling in both school-based and office settings. This position involves working with children, adolescents, and families to address a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to trauma, grief, behavior issues, anxiety, depression, and other emotional and mental health challenges.
As a therapist, you will collaborate with school staff, parents, and our agency team to ensure that each client receives the necessary support to succeed emotionally and academically. You will also participate in monthly quality assurance and case management meetings to ensure the highest standards of care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students in school-based settings as well as clients in our office
- Assess client needs and create individualized treatment plans based on therapeutic goals
- Provide therapy for a variety of concerns including trauma, grief, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, and more
- Develop coping strategies, emotional regulation techniques, and life skills to help clients succeed
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided in compliance with agency standards
- Participate in monthly quality assurance and case management meetings to review the effectiveness of services and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), or a related field
- Active ACSW (Associate Clinical Social Worker), or eligible for licensure as an AMFT, ASW, or equivalent
- Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic or educational setting
- Knowledge and experience in trauma-informed care and mental health interventions
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to connect with clients and work collaboratively with staff and families
- Ability to maintain professionalism and work independently while being part of a supportive team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in school settings, with trauma-affected youth, or in a similar community-focused role
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is a plus
