Great Valley School District is seeking an innovative, dedicated and compassionate STEAM Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and critical thinking. The STEAM Teacher designs and delivers engaging, interdisciplinary instruction that integrates science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. The STEAM teacher fosters creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation while supporting the district's instructional program and aligning with curriculum standards.
Responsibilities

Implement a STEAM curriculum aligned with district and state standards

Deliver hands-on, inquiry-based lessons that promote problem-solving and design thinking

Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance student learning

Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers and fellow STEAM teachers to support cross-curricular connections and ensure consistency in STEAM curriculum implementation, instructional practices, and student learning experiences

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles

Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of student performance

Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and collaboration

Participate in professional development and ongoing learning in STEAM education
Qualifications

Pennsylvania Elementary Teacher certification required

Bachelor's degree in education, or related field
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Experience working with diverse learners and differentiated instruction

Commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration

Doctorate $90,420 to $102,020 (Step 10)
