Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities using advanced techniques such as aseptic procedures and catheter care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to accurately document medical records, treatment notes, and patient progress.
- Support patients with complex medical conditions including critical care scenarios such as ICU or Level I Trauma Center cases, ensuring adherence to safety protocols like basic life support and infection control standards.
- Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's/dementia/memory care, behavioral health support, hospice services, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities.
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform procedures like phlebotomy or catheter insertions while maintaining strict aseptic techniques.
- Provide compassionate patient service in diverse environments including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, and home & community settings.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an RN, LPN/LVN, or CNA in the respective state; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
- Proven experience in various healthcare settings such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology principles, and infection control practices including aseptic technique.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients or those requiring specialized dementia or memory care.
- Ability to perform vital signs assessment and medication administration accurately while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
