Job Purpose
This position is for a Restoration Specialist of fire, mold, water cleanup and restoration for the Large Loss Division and ServiceMaster Restore division.

Continuously enforcing that proper PPE is worn throughout the entire shift.
Reporting Relationships
- The Restoration Specialist shall report directly to the Supervisor or Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager or Operations Coordinator.

Temporary laborers and other specialists may report to this position if assigned to do so by the Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrive at the office or job site on time be dressed in approved Restore or SRM uniform and proper PPE.
-
Participate in the morning meeting with the Project Manager to go over all assignments and tasks to be completed during the working shift.

Ensure trucks, equipment, and tools are 100% prepared to best serve our customers.

Comply with all verbal and written safety practices including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Adhere to and comply with all company policies.
- Drive to and from worksites safely in company assigned vehicles.

Execute all work that is being performed to reflect world-class customer service and standards that SRM/Restore has put into place.

Load, unload, move equipment, move contents, decontaminate equipment.
-
Inform APM or PM of any major issues in the work area.
-
Competently and consistently utilize company technology (Restore365, MICA, Matterport, ProAssist, GoodNotes, ContentsTrack, etc.)
-
Photo document job progress and upload photos to appropriate drive. Photos need to be taken through shift and uploaded to proper folders in appropriate drive. This includes daily line up at all commercial jobs.
- Confirm that all vehicles are cleaned at the end of shift.

Perform water/fire/smoke restoration, mold remediation, cleaning of personal property, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning as directed by supervisors or APM or PM.

Water extraction, pack-out contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, light demolition, and deodorizing of space and contents, treatment of surfaces, carpet cleaning and general cleaning.

Properly sets up and removes air movers and/or dehumidifiers and performs monitors and moisture mapping on water losses.
- Ensures equipment, supplies, and tools are properly handled, maintained, and stored.

Ensures all equipment, supplies, materials and tools are returned at completion of the job.
- Performs content inventory and properly documents both damaged contents and documents to be discarded.
- Tracks and scans all equipment/supplies with the current tracking system.
- Has a basic knowledge of restoration equipment usage and has the ability to perform maintenance of those items.
- Adheres to all safety rules and precautions to ensure employee and customer safety.
- Restoration Specialists need to have the ability to perform all duties physically required.
- Any and all other duties as assigned by Management or Leadership.

Be on call 24/7 and 365 days a year.
- Ability and willingness to work 12+ hour shifts, 7 days a week for weeks at a time.
The licensing/registration/certification requirements for this position are, but not limited to, as follows:

Required: Valid State Driver’s License

Ability to obtain and maintain a Class E driver's license within 30 days of hire
-
Preferred: License with the ability to drive a vehicle with GW of 10,001 pounds.

Preferred: Ability to fly on commercial aircraft.
- Be able to pass DOT physical and follow all DOT regulations.
- Maintain and/or Obtain IICRC Certification

Certified on operation of Forklifts and other lift equipment (is a plus but not required)
To perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each task and duty to the high standards set by SRM/Restore.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Measurement of Performance
The measurement of performance of the Restoration Specialist is, but is not limited to, the following:
- Complete all projects in accordance with the instructions of the APM or PM.

Communicate any problems that arise to the APM or PM.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace.
-
Uphold all company policies, procedures and safety policies.
- Maintain necessary personal transportation and driver’s license.
-
Maintain paperwork, including the daily pack, timesheet, expense report, in a timely and accurate manner.

Maintain a clean, appropriate appearance.

Attendance - Must be on time each day and attend all scheduled meetings.
Working Conditions
- Working conditions will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold.

Ability to have a can-do-attitude, teamwork and a desire to do more than what is required.
- Able to drive for up to 11 hours.
Physical Requirements
- Body Positions: Standing for 12-hour periods. With 15 minute and half hour breaks.
