Supplemental Questionnaire (SQ) Requirements
To be considered for this position applicants must include the Supplemental Questionnaire (SQ) for this recruitment. Applications without an SQ or an SQ that does not directly answer all the items below will not be considered. The SQ serves as documentation of each candidate’s ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. The CDTFA will not consider applicants who fail to provide an SQ with their application. Resumes do not take the place of the SQ.
Additionally, your SQ should be no more than two (2) pages in length, single-spaced and must include:

Your name on SQ.
- The Job Control number on SQ.

Answer both questions separately, in 11 font, and no more than 2 pages in length.
Please respond directly to the following SQ items below:
- Please describe your experience and education that qualifies you to be an Associate Tax Auditor.
- Please describe your experience as it relates to knowledge of the sales and use tax law, local and district taxes, and explaining those laws to taxpayers and tax professionals. Additionally, explain your experience in obtaining taxpayers compliance with your requests for information.
You must provide specific information in your response(s) which demonstrates how your knowledge, skills, and training meet the needs of this position.
