Overview
Local sports bar and bowling family entertainment center looking for a full time bartender for the upcoming league and football season. Looking for energetic individuals with excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend beverages that enhance their experience
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to the bar menu
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to ensure seamless service
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events or busy periods
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest ages when necessary
- Handle cashing out customers efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Assist in bar management tasks when needed, including inventory and training new team members
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender, preferred with 3 years experience
- Able to give good service while operating in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for processing transactions preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with an energetic and positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- RAMP certification and knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate order processing
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; hospitality industry experience highly valued
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Pay: $2.83 - $3.25 per hour
