Duties
- Safely transport patients to scheduled medical appointments.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring safety equipment is functional.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe transportation at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare facilities, and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly.
- Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices, ensuring safety for both passengers and yourself.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs as required.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while assisting passengers or handling equipment.
