Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues and ensure proper system functionality.
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards to maintain safety and compliance on all projects.
- Work on construction sites, renovation projects, or service calls with a focus on quality workmanship and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman services when necessary for seamless project completion.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in residential electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Familiarity with industrial electrician practices is a plus but not required.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to use electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters accurately.
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and building codes.
- Knowledge of NEC regulations and local electrical codes to ensure compliant installations.
