Position Overview
We are expanding our team in Broward/Fort Lauderdale and are seeking Mobile Marine Repair Technicians. Whether you're a seasoned marine professional or someone with solid boating/yachting experience looking to grow into the industry, we encourage you to apply.
This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing onboard systems — including mechanical, electrical (AC/DC), plumbing, and hydraulic components. If you enjoy problem-solving, take pride in your workmanship, and love working around boats, this could be an excellent fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mobile service, repairs, and routine maintenance on a wide range of marine systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
- Provide clear documentation and communicate findings to both management and customers.
- Represent Hartman Yacht Maintenance with professionalism and a strong customer-service mindset.
- Maintain safety standards and an organized work environment in the field.
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years in marine service, yacht maintenance, or a related technical trade; or hands-on boating experience combined with a strong willingness to learn.
- Experience with AC/DC electrical systems, pumps, plumbing, and engines.
- Familiarity with marine sanitation systems (e.g., Sealand VacuFlush) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, and rigging is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete work in the field.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in a marine environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
- Stable work history; we value reliable, long-term team members.
- Residing in or willing to relocate to the Broward/Fort Lauderdale area.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
