A&W Consulting Service is seeking dependable and professional Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers to provide reliable last-mile delivery services for e-commerce retailers, automotive parts suppliers, distribution centers, and logistics partners. Contractors are responsible for safely transporting products while maintaining exceptional customer service, meeting delivery deadlines, and representing A&W Consulting Service with professionalism.
This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to service dedicated routes as our logistics network continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages, auto parts, retail merchandise, and other freight to businesses and residential customers.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules while maintaining on-time performance.
- Load, transport, and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
- Verify delivery information and obtain proof of delivery when required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and delivery exceptions.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
- Maintain accurate delivery records using mobile applications or electronic devices.
- Handle customer interactions professionally and courteously.
- Protect customer property and company freight from damage or loss.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company operating procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle in good operating condition.
- Current vehicle registration.
- Active automobile insurance meeting state requirements.
- Smartphone with GPS and data capability.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Independent Contractor Requirements
